Mario Tozzi colpisce ancora. Il conduttore di "Gaia" e "Terzo Pianeta" (rai3) è uno di quelli a cui è affidata la cosiddetta divulgazione scientifica in tv, monopolizzata da personaggi come (per dirne un altro) Veronesi, che rassicura sulla bontà degli inceneritori mentre la sua fondazione è finanziata da una lista terrificante di aziende di ogni tipo tra cui spiccano ACEA e VEOLIA, che costruiscono e gestiscono inceneritori. 2. L’incenerimento è una scelta alternativa alla raccolta differenziata. Se le quantità di rifiuti conferiti a un inceneritore diminuissero e il forno non lavorasse a pieno regime il deficit economico crescerebbe.
3. Ogni mezza parola i politici dicono che dobbiamo stare in Europa. Eppure l’incenerimento è l’opposto delle indicazioni europee sul trattamento dei rifiuti, che prevedono, in ordine: la riduzione, la raccolta differenziata e il riciclaggio, combustion without energy recovery (anaerobic fermentation of organic fraction), combustion with energy recovery.
